About This Archive

ICEMAD is a public repository dedicated to documenting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, interactions, and conduct through video evidence captured by community members, legal observers, and affected individuals.

This database preserves video documentation that may serve as evidence in accountability efforts, legal proceedings, civil rights advocacy, and public oversight of ICE activities. This platform operates in support of constitutional rights as a free expression of First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendment protections. The only information collected is what you enter in the upload form and EXIF metadata from the video itself. No user or browser information is stored. There is no way to determine or extract any personal information associated with the uploader.

Important: All content uploaded becomes immediately available to the public. Videos, metadata, and associated information are accessible for viewing, analysis, and download by anyone. Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and Lawful Use

By uploading content to this archive, you certify that:

• You recorded the video in a public space or location where you had a legal right to record
• The recording was made lawfully in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• You are the copyright holder or have authorization to share this content publicly
• The content documents interactions with law enforcement or related public officials
• You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent

2. Content Guidelines

Uploaded content must:

• Depict ICE operations, interactions, or enforcement actions in public or quasi-public settings
• Be authentic and unaltered (excluding redaction of private information)
• Not contain personal identifying information of bystanders, minors, or private individuals uninvolved in the documented incident
• Not violate any person's reasonable expectation of privacy

3. Public Domain and Licensing

By uploading content, you agree to make it available to the public domain or under a Creative Commons license that permits free redistribution, analysis, and use by journalists, researchers, legal professionals, and the general public. You waive any expectation of privacy or confidentiality regarding uploaded materials.

4. No Verification or Legal Advice

ICEMAD is a neutral platform for hosting user-submitted content. We do not verify, authenticate, or endorse the accuracy of any uploaded materials. Content reflects the perspective and claims of individual contributors. This platform does not provide legal advice, and use of this database does not create an attorney-client relationship.

5. Prohibited Content

Do not upload:

• Content recorded in violation of state wiretapping or eavesdropping laws
• Material containing child sexual abuse imagery or exploitation
• Content depicting graphic violence not necessary to document law enforcement conduct
• Personal information such as Social Security numbers, credit card information, or home addresses
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code embedded in video files
• Content unrelated to ICE operations or accountability

6. Limitation of Liability

ICEMAD operates as a platform for free expression and does not assume liability for user-submitted content. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their uploads comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, but do not guarantee monitoring or content moderation.

7. Your Legal Responsibilities

You are responsible for understanding and complying with federal, state, and local laws regarding recording in public spaces. Laws vary by jurisdiction. Some states require all-party consent for audio recordings. Familiarize yourself with your local laws before recording and uploading content.

8. Takedown Requests

If you believe content violates your rights or applicable law, contact us with specific details. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other relevant statutes.

9. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
